ndrea Lee is an emerging star on the LPGA Tour, highlighted by her first win at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee won on every level, which includes her time at Standford University where she earned nine wins and stayed for 17 weeks in the position of being the #1 Women's Amateur from the World. Following her win of the Mark H. McCormack Award for the highest ranked women's amateur worldwide following the completion of the season in 2019, Lee made the switch to professional. Andrea Lee was born on 15 August 1998 in Los Angeles. James taught her how to golf as early as she was just 5 years old. When she was 8 years old she started competing in tournaments and in just 4 years, she had was awarded 50 Junior championships. She was a finalist at her first tournament in the year 2014 US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. aged 15 with her dad playing as her caddie. After joining Stanford University in 2016 she was the highest-ranked player of its history in that moment. Over the next three years she took home nine individual championships. Lee left Stanford University and turned pro in the year 2019. Her amateur career comprised 17 weeks consecutively in the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee completed her career as the best amateur, received the Mark H. McCormack 2019 Medal. Lee was an amateur of the top who scored four albatrosses as well as four holes-in-one.
